THE JOB:
We are looking for an experienced B2B sales professional to develop our client’s business across the Adriatic region. This is a hands-on new business development role for someone who knows the regional IT hardware, gaming and consumer electronics channel and already has an established network of distributors, wholesalers, resellers partners. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, approaching potential partners, opening new accounts and developing long-term commercial relationships across the region. This is not primarily an account-management role. We are looking for a genuine hunter who enjoys opening doors, developing new markets and turning prospects into recurring customers.
THE JOB:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy for the Adriatic markets.
- Identify and approach new distributors, wholesalers, resellers and relevant B2B customers.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Open new accounts and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Develop existing relationships into larger and broader partnerships.
- Work closely with distributors and resellers to increase sales, product penetration and market coverage.
- Identify opportunities for new brands and products within the regional channel.
- Monitor competitors, pricing, market developments, and customer requirements.
- Travel regularly throughout the region to meet customers and partners.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and market feedback to management.
THE PERSON:
- Minimum 5years of B2B sales or business development experience in IT hardware, PC components, gaming accessories, consumer electronics or a closely related sector.
- An established network of distributors, wholesalers, and resellers in the Adriatic/Balkan region.
- Demonstrated experience winning new customers and opening new accounts.
- A genuine hunter mentality: proactive, persistent, and comfortable initiating conversations with prospects.
- Strong understanding of the IT hardware/gaming distribution channel.
- Commercially confident with experience negotiating prices, margins, distribution agreements and commercial terms.
- Willingness to travel within the region.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluent English; additional regional languages are a strong advantage.
You do not need to have relationships in every country in the territory. Strong relationships in several key markets, combined with the ability and motivation to develop new ones, are more important.
