Our Client is offering an excellent opportunity in "fit-out" project management.  We are looking for a talent, who is highly organised, has demonstrated experience in retail/office/residential fit-out design, excellent project coordination skills, a team player to work on fit-out projects with international retail clients in Romania and in Europe.

PROJECT MANAGER – Fit-Out 

Location: Bucharest Romania

THE JOB

• Managing design and construction projects from start to finish for retail stores
• Preparation of projects, negotiations to reach thorough agreements with clients & subcontractors
• Managing the project management team's work & acting in liaison with the Client
• Strict and continuous overview on quality, timeline, and cost control in a proactive way
• On-site presence and management upon project demands
• Using the company's self-developed 3D construction software on a daily basis to plan, coordinate, allocate tasks, manage project budget & report the current status of the site
• Communication with international clients

 THE PERSON

• 5-6 years of experience in design
• A good understanding of commercial/retail/office fit-out projects
• A person who can easily adapt to different circumstances, changing environments, and willing to work in an international team 
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering
• 3D design software experiences are a plus
• A winning spirit, positive, confident, “can do” attitude, result oriented, excellence in assertive communication and negotiation skills, determined, proactive, practical approach
• Excellent organisational, communication, and time-management skills
• Excellent English language skills & native Romanian

THE JOB

• Preparation of projects, collection of technical requirements
• Communication with project stakeholders, designers and the permitting authority
• Making proposals for technical and cost optimization measures, in charge of the permitting procedure
• Cost estimate preparation and cost control during implementation
• Issuing the request for proposal, conducting, and evaluating tenders
• Organizing, holding, and documenting meetings during implementation
• Project monitoring regarding Client and statutory requirements
• Maintaining contact with contractors, coordinating technical inspections, and managing changes
• Progress report preparation

 THE PERSON

• Architectural Engineering or Civil Engineering degree
• Min. 3-5 years of proven experience successfully delivering complex projects in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Strategic thinking
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• Fluent English
