TECHNICAL PROPERTY ADVISOR

Location: Szentendre, Hungary

Industry: Real Estate/ Property & Facility Management

THE JOB

• Maintain the site’s aesthetic and technical condition in line with approved maintenance priorities. Main areas: electricity substations and networks, water & sewage infrastructure, roof insulation, and drainage systems.
• Ensure order and cleanliness within the plot and ensure tenant behaviour complies with site rules and standards.
• Identify risks, inefficiencies, or improvement needs and submit proposals for approval.
• Manage tenant technical requests and coordinate interventions.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, request and compare quotations.
• Support negotiations to ensure cost-effective and compliant outcomes.
• Execute and oversee technical projects and works based on approved plans.
• Conduct on-site inspections, supervise contractors, and ensure compliance with standards and timelines.
• Provide technical support and validation for standard contract templates, ensuring technical specifications are accurate and compliant.
• Perform technical takeovers and document progress on repairs and upgrades.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency, presenting them for approval.
• Support long-term maintenance planning in line with the company’s strategy.
• Remain available for occasional urgent after-hours matters and act promptly.

THE PERSON

• Secondary or higher technical education in construction, building engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years experience in construction and facility management, with a solid technical understanding of building operations and maintenance processes.
• Experience coordinating on-site contractors and performing quality checks.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and organizational abilities.
• Entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable handling multiple projects and respond to urgent situations.
• Native Hungarian and Fluency in English.
