Country Sales Manager- Bulgaria

THE JOB

Develop and refine the existing sales and marketing strategy for the Bulgarian market; design and implement new approaches aligned with business growth objectives

Lead, mentor and motivate a local team (sales representatives, technical support, administration), including full P&L responsibility

Expand market presence and increase turnover across all key customer segments: construction companies, distributors, architects, investors, developers

Drive new business development, identify growth opportunities and acquire new clients in both residential and commercial construction

Plan and participate in quarterly sales meetings with the regional HQ; contribute to target setting and strategy alignment with group objectives

Set short- and long-term KPIs for the sales team, track performance consistently and transparently, manage monthly reviews and margin development

Conduct market analysis of the building materials sector, including competitor benchmarking and product positioning

Lead price negotiations with key accounts and maintain strong long-term client relationships

Collaborate closely with Head Office departments – product management, marketing, supply chain, sales controlling
THE PERSON
-
University degree in Business, Engineering or a related field (technical background is a strong advantage)

Proven sales experience in building materials, construction products, tools, or industrial manufacturing

Professional exposure to an international business environment; experience with Central/Western European or German-owned companies is a plus

Entrepreneurial, strategic and creative mindset, combined with strong commercial acumen

Charismatic sales leader with excellent client-handling and communication skills, willing to travel across Bulgaria when needed

Fluency in English; Bulgarian native
