CHIEF ACCOUNTANT-Greece
Location: Athens, (South suburb, Greece
Industry: food manufacturing
THE JOB
- Manage the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements
- Provide insights into financial performance and key metrics to support decision making
- Develop the annual budgets and the quarterly forecasts
- Ensure compliance with the tax regulations and oversee the tax returns
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls to ensure the accuracy of the records
- Conduct detailed cost analysis of production processes, identify areas of cost savings
THE PERSON
- Finance, Accounting or related degree
- “A” signature rights must have
- Min. 5 years of Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant experience in the manufacturing industry
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and tax laws
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
- Fluent Greek and English
