This role will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and financial control, ensuring strong governance and alignment with corporate standards within a SAP-driven environment.

CFO / FINANCE MANAGER - BULGARIA

Location: Plovdiv, Bulgaria

Industry: Manufacturing

THE JOB

• Manage and oversee the daily financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in line with corporate and statutory requirements

• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, supporting strategic and operational planning

• Monitor financial performance, KPIs, and cost control to ensure business profitability

• Work closely with plant management to support operational and financial decision-making

• Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and group policies

• Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and statutory reporting

• Drive improvements in financial processes, controls, and reporting systems

• Act as the key finance contact for SAP financial modules, ensuring accurate data and reporting

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and financial process optimization

 THE PERSON

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis

• Experience working with SAP ERP systems (FI/CO modules preferred)

• Solid understanding of cost accounting and manufacturing finance

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Native Bulgarian, fluent English, German knowledge is an advantage
